It is a good size of 735mm square and I hate to throw it away. So I have to do more than folding to get this model completed…. I need to conduct a ‘operation’ to save my paper.
Luckily I didn’t throw away the odds and ends of this paper, so it provided me the necessary ‘reinforcemet’ material. All I need now is the bonding agent… the glue. After carefully cut out the tiny strips of ‘reinforcement’ tape, it is spreaded generously with glue sitck.
One by one, the tiny bandage goes on the ‘wound’ of the paper with the tweezer. 1, 2, 3, 4, … total 23 stitches.
After satisfying myself that the paper is ‘well’ to continue the folding journey, I porceed to ‘torture’ it with over hundreds folds and countless in-out sink, open one as well as closed. And the final result is ….
If you look closely at the front right pincer of the crab, you might just see the scar….
